WellOPT

WellOPT is the world’s first of its kind complete ERP and Project Delivery model for Drilling Project Management and Well Delivery Process for Upstream Oil and Gas Wells.

The WellOPT is much more than an ERP. It encompasses the entire gambit of a drilling project from concept to completion including the stages of planning, engineering, design, preparation, mobilization, drilling operations, real-time monitoring, reporting, demobilization and project handover and closeout.

WellOPT will allow every member from the top senior management to the supervisors at the rig to understand the status of the  drilling project at any time in different modes, schedule risks and gaps, progress and performance gaps and risks, time and cost management, execution standards and effectiveness, deliverables and service quality, project risks and mitigation, drilling operations management etc. Through the effective integration of all components of a drilling project to provide the data, information, interpretation and recommendations, the team at any point of time will have the necessary details to make effective decisions, control the situations and complete the tasks efficiently.

iC2Dril – LAH Look Ahead

LAH is a niche product that is one of the essential requirement for all drilling projects.

Look Ahead is one of the most essential tools used in drilling project which describes the expected activities while drilling a well say in 6 days, 12 days, 18 days from today or at any day. Some Engineers follow 7, 14 and 21 days routine. This forms the basis for operations team as well as the service providers to effectively plan for the logistics of mobilizing equipment and materials for the future activities in time (not too early or not too late) including transportation by road, vessels and personnel movement through choppers/vessels. Further, the Look Ahead is also used by interfacing disciplines like subsurface, facilities and production to understand and plan their own activities to integrate with that of drilling. The management team uses the Look Ahead to understand the progress and well status whenever needed.

It is generated daily and is updated regularly if the activities timeline changes in between.

A well-managed Look Ahead tool creates a massive difference between cost-effective efficient operations and poorly managed operations.

Currently, Look Ahead is normally managed by the oil and gas companies through excel sheet or other models and distribute to all users by mail or posting in common folders. Any change made to the Look Ahead during the day needs distribution again.

LAH was created by i-Bytes for iWells Dubai (Client) as an innovative software solution that allows the person responsible for daily Look Ahead to generate it in a PC. Once it is saved, it gets updated to all the users in the LAH application in their PC or Mobile. The users can just log in to LAH App in their mobile to review the Look Ahead with a provision to send and receive messages and several good features to search and find information for any date or phase of drilling.

LAH will be a very useful tool/App for all drilling projects and is scheduled to be launched in the industry in February 2021.

Currently, we are working on LAH Ver 2 that will come further with advanced features by Q3, 2021.
